“Shore Cellars” had this 1 ac vineyard planted at “Discovery Ridge” on Dan and Pam Shore’s future 7 ac homesite in the SW foothills overlooking the Reno valley to the north. 850 vines were planted in late June of 2018 with 5 red varieties and 2 whites for personal use and blending. The site is rocky, windy and cold so there are many challenges with the vineyard. Dan makes award winning red wines with grapes from Shenandoah Valley and Loomis/Granite Bay CA.
